     Business Teacher - Available August 2019 

    Position Summary:

    This position is responsible for teaching the following possible Business subjects:  Economics/Finance,

    Entrepreneurship, Business Management, Accounting, International Business, and Law classes.

    There may also be the opportunity to coach various athletic teams.

    Duties:

    Plan the curriculum and instruction of business classes

    Monitor and evaluate student progress

    Prepare educational records and reports

    Sponsor the FBLA Chapter

    Sponsor student related groups and activities as assigned

    Extra-duty activities as assigned

    Requirements:

    Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business with a teaching certification.

    Candidate must possess or be able to obtain a Colorado Teaching License.

    Salary and Benefits:

    Minimum salary is $35,200 per year with the possibility of accepting

    years of experience or additional education on the salary schedule.

    The district provides health insurance benefits, PERA, and life insurance.

    Salary and Benefits:

    Salary will be negotiated based on experience.

    Weld RE-9 pays $635 per month towards a selection of medical, dental, and vision insurance.

    Life insurance and long term disability coverage is provided. The district also provides a cell phone.

    Contract is based on 205 days with 8 paid sick days and 3 paid personal days.

    Selected candidate will participate in the PERA retirement system.

    This position will begin March 25th, 2019 and includes teaching the following subjects:

    Physical Education, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, and RTI Math Intervention Classes

    Monitor and evaluate student progress

    Prepare educational records and reports

    Requirements:

    Minimum of a teaching certification in math.
