    Position Summary:

    This position is primarily responsible for assisting teachers/staff with students including supervision duties.

    This position will be 7.5 hours per day.  


    Physical Requirements:

    Physical requirements include being in physical condition to enable walking, lifting, standing, sitting,

    stooping, kneeling, crouching, as well as stamina to be on your feet and active for full work days.

    Salary and Benefits:

    Salary will start at $11.25 per hour depending on experience, with full employer paid benefits

    including personal and sick leave, disability, life insurance, and PERA retirement which is

    an 8% contribution by the employee and a 20.15% contribution by employer.

    Position Summary:

    This person is responsible for working in a team environment in a High School Special Education Department

    assisting the instructors in providing educational experiences and support to students.

    The employee is required to interact with the public and other staff.


    Physical Requirements:

    Physical requirements include being in physical condition to enable walking, lifting, standing, sitting,

    stooping, kneeling, crouching, as well as stamina to be on your feet and active for full work days.


    Duties:

    Provide instructional assistance to special education students

    Monitor and evaluate student progress

    Assisting students in a general education classroom

    Participate as a classified staff member within the building

    Participate in all aspects of special education students schooling experience

    Responsible for providing a safe educational environment

    Participate in implementing students' Individual Education Plans and behavior plans


    Requirements:

    Experience working with high age students. Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.

    Applicant must demonstrate a great deal of patience and empathy.


    Salary and Benefits:

    Minimum salary is $11.25 per hour with the possibility of accepting some years of experience on the salary schedule.

    Part-time Food Service Worker

    Position Summary:

    The position is responsible for working in the cafeteria as a cook/server with other staff

    providing the necessary support to serve the students attractive and nutritious meals

    in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness, and warmth.

    This position will be 4 hours per day.


    Duties:

    Assists with the preparation of lunch

    Adjusts recipes based on student counts for the day

    Serves lunch

    Assists with the clean-up after lunch has been served

    Works with kitchen related equipment

    Must work quickly and efficiently

    Assists with production records

    Will rotate all job duties with other cafeteria staff


    Salary and Benefits:

    Salary will start at $11.25 an hour depending on experience, with a PERA retirement benefit plan which includes

    an 8% contribution by the employee and a 20.15% contribution by employer, and matching employer Medicare.
