Parents and Students,
Starting next week, students will need their instruments and music books. Any other music will be posted online. I will be at school at the following times:Tuesday from 1-2Wednesday from 12-2Friday from 12-2I would recommend getting your instrument TODAY rather than waiting until later in the week.In addition, I have moved where assignments will be posted. Each class has it's own page for assignments to be posted. You can find these pages on the navigation bar on the left.
We will still be following the green/white day schedule, so students will only have assignments posted on white days. Students should get in the habit of checking email frequently as important content will be sent to students via email. If you have ANY questions, do not hesitate to email me at email@example.com.

Degrees and Certifications:
My name is Pete Chambers and I am the middle school band and choir teacher. This is my first year teaching at Highland but my sixth year teaching overall. Prior to teaching at Highland, I taught K-12 music in the Pawnee School District in Grover, Colorado. I grew up in Washington but moved to Colorado in 2012. My college years were spent in Moscow, Idaho at the University of Idaho (Go Vandals!!!) where I studied music education and percussion performance. I stay active as a performer in northern Colorado performing with the Loveland Symphony and with my alternative rock band, Black Mesa. My wife, Jill who is an occupational therapist in Fort Collins, and I love spending time outdoors with our two dogs, Margo and Olive. You will also find us camping, hiking, and watching our beloved Seahawks win. I'm very excited to continue my teaching career at Highland Middle School and look forward to the year ahead!
