Degrees and Certifications:
Mr. Enrique Mejia
Born and raised in Kansas City, MO. I attended the University of Missouri, Columbia to study English and Spanish. After graduating from university, I traveled South America to climb mountains in Patagonia. Upon returning to the states, I pursued a career in outdoor education as a backpacking instructor for high school youth. After working in outdoor education for six years, I decided to switch careers and finally pursue my teaching license to teach secondary English Language Arts. Prior to working at Highland High School, I worked as a special education paraprofessional in the Poudre School district.
I am excited to join the Highland High School team for the 2019-2020 school year!
