    Highland Students, Parents, and Community,

     UPDATED 3/27/2020

As a result of the recent Covid-19 outbreak, Highland High School moved to an online teaching format beginning on March 23rd and will continue this method  through April 17th.

High School students will access their educational assignments and teachers through Google Classroom, email, or individual teacher's websites.  Students who began this process with hardcopy materials while waiting to get online services, should photo, photocopy, or scan these assignments and return them to their teachers online.   Any student currently enrolled in an OdysseyWare course will continue to have access at home.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to your students’ teacher should you encounter any issues or have questions.

Please be reminded that CHSAA has cancelled all sports and activities through April 17th . Student/athletes may train on their own, without coaches present, off-campus, until that date. Teachers are not allowed to meet with any students in person, only by phone, email, or other online tools until April 17th.

Food Services will continue to make meals available for ALL students (under 18) during this time. Please see below for the available times/locations for pick-up, and other important information.

Beginning MONDAY 3/23, meals can be picked up at one of the following locations:

    MS/HS, 9am - 1pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday

ES, 9am - 12pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday

Nunn (bus barn), 9am - 12pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday

Carr (post office), 10am - 12pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday

***Monday and Wednesday pick ups will provide students food for breakfast and lunch Monday/Tuesday or Wednesday/Thursday in order to supplement for days that food isn't being served.

***If you have any specific dietary needs, please reach out to our Food Services Director, McKaley @ mphillips@weldre9.k12.co.us

We will do our best to update you of any changes or new developments as they unfold over the course of the next three weeks.

    Sincerely,
    Randy Yaussi, Principal
    Kelsey Bailey, Assistant Principal
